digiChart Announces New Executives, Prepares for Growth
Nashville, TN - July 12, 2011 - digiChart, Inc., a Nashville-based provider of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management system solutions for OB-GYN practices, has announced the promotion of Stephen Faris to chief technology officer, as well as the addition of two vice presidents – Melissa Harris and Fred Aiken – to its senior-level staff.

Stephen Faris has been promoted internally from digiChart’s vice president of technology to chief technology officer. As CTO, Mr. Faris is responsible for digiChart’s information technology, overseeing the company’s product development and technical operations teams. Before joining digiChart, he served as CTO for HealthGate Data Corporation.
Melissa Harris joins digiChart as its vice president of client services. She will be responsible for managing the company’s client support, training and implementation teams. Prior to joining digiChart, Ms. Harris held management positions at Healthways and Stinger Medical.
Fred Aiken will serve as digiChart’s vice president of account management. Mr. Aiken has more than 15 years of account management experience in healthcare and IT companies, most recently with Informa, PLC. He will oversee digiChart’s account management and inside sales teams, working to best address each client’s objectives and ensure client satisfaction.
