G. William Bates, MD, MBA, President and Chief Executive Officer
Bill Bates is the founder and chief executive officer of digiChart. He is also a clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Prior to joining digiChart, Dr. Bates served as professor of obstetrics and gynecology and dean of the College of Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina at Charleston. Dr. Bates was executive vice president and chief medical officer of PrincipalCare Inc., a company that acquired and managed OB-GYN practices in metropolitan areas. Dr. Bates received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also holds the degree of master of business administration with an emphasis on health care administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Shelley Predmore, Chief Operating Officer
Shelley Predmore brings more than 25 years of healthcare operational and technical expertise gained from senior level management positions with United HealthCare in Dayton, OH and Birmingham, AL; MedPartners in Ft. Lauderdale, FL; VIVRA Specialty Network and Per-Se Technologies in Atlanta, GA and HCA Physician Services in Nashville, TN. Ms Predmore joined digiChart as Vice President of Client Services in 2005 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in November 2007 to oversee all operational departments at digiChart, including client services, product development and technical operations. She holds a Bachelor of Information Technology Degree from American Intercontinental University.

Julie Maples, CPA, Vice President of Finance
As Vice President for Finance, Julie Maples is responsible for directing all aspects of finance and accounting for digiChart. She joined digiChart as Controller in 1998 and was promoted to Vice President, Finance in 2003. Before joining digiChart, Ms. Maples was Regional Controller for Gambro Healthcare. Prior to that she was Director of Accounting for InterSYS, a computer integration and consulting company. She also served as Senior Accountant for Ren Corporation. Ms. Maples received her BS from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green in 1991, and fulfilled her experience requirement during her tenure with Ren Corporation before passing the CPA Exam in 1994.

Stephen Faris Vice President of Technology
Stephen Faris is responsible for digiChart’s information technology, overseeing the company’s product development and technical operations teams. Joining digiChart in 2010, Mr. Faris brings an extensive background delivering innovative products and applications, particularly with Software as a Service technology (SaaS). Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer for HealthGate Data Corporation, leading all technical facets of the company including product planning, software design and development, quality assurance, IT infrastructure, and Web hosting. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Vanderbilt University.

Bob Allen National Director of Sales
Bob Allen is responsible for the sales and marketing of all digiChart products and services. Mr. Allen comes to digiChart from McKesson, where he was Vice President of Sales in McKesson’s Physician Practice Solutions business. While at McKesson, he oversaw the sales and distribution of clinical and practice management applications for physicians through direct and indirect sales channels. Mr. Allen joined digiChart in February of 2010 and has over 20 years experience in sales, healthcare technology and executive leadership. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Rochester Institute of Technology, in Rochester, NY.
